About Alex
After training at Guildford school of acting Alex has performed at hundreds of gigs all over the UK and further afield.
Alex has played the role of Frank Sinatra in the long running West End and international hit show The Rat Pack Live From Las Vegas. He has performed the role both in the UK and America at the amazing Fabulous Fox theatre in St Louis Missouri, with a terrific band, some of the members of which had played on stage alongside Frank Sinatra himself.
The Frank and Sammy Show is a 1 hour tribute show featuring famous Jazz/Swing and Blues hits sung by Alex Banks as Frank Sinatra and Darren Charles as Sammy Davis Junior from the hit West End cast of The Rat Pack.
Voiceover Artist
Alex is also a versatile voiceover artist. Clients such as the BBC, Mercedes Benz, Audi, Guinness and the History Channel have used Alex’s smooth tones on TV and radio commercials. Alex’s voiceover projects to date include various promos for the BBC, The History Channel and The Biography Channel. Voiceovers for TV commercials include the Guinness Mustang Commercial directed by Anthony Minghella and Mercedes Benz “Better at
movement than others”.
Alex has also featured in a number of West End shows and
Television programmes.
